1. How can I listen to any of the Designaband bands? Listen to the samples on this website or contact us at info@designaband.com for a free CD or DVD. 2. How much do the bands cost? Send us an email for a quote. Please include as much information about the event as possible. 3. What are Designaband's different line-ups? Most of the things that we do are available with 2 or 3 singers and with or without our brass section. When we provide a quote we will discuss your requirements and come up with a line-up depending on the set and your budget.
We can perform most genres for up to 2 hours (2 x 45s, 2 x 1 hour, 3 x 40s). Sway can perform for up to 3 hours (3 x 1 hours, 4 x 45s). Please let us know if your requirements are different. 5. Are your musicians any good?
So YES - WE'RE THE BEST MUSICIANS THAT MONEY CAN BUY! 6. Do you play recorded music during your breaks? Yes, we play music from an extensive library of carefully put together playlists on an iPod suitable for all moods and periods of an evening. Alternatively We can bring our own DJ or, if you prefer, you can provide your own CD's. Yes, this is something we do regularly. You may prefer to have a smaller line-up for the drinks reception (i.e. The Red Hornz or a pianist and singer or just an acoustic set) and have the rest of the band for the conference and the party. 8. Do you perform at private events? Yes. As a rough guide - 20 feet x 12 feet for the six piece line-up. 10.How long do you take to set up? Ideally we would like to allow 2 hours before an event begins if we are providing the PA and lights although we can do it in less if need be. All over the world! Travel expenses and accommodation costs may be incurred for events outside the Home Counties and also 'travel day' expenses if the event is abroad. 12.Can we come and see you live? Members of Designaband are on TV virtually every day!! All of our work is in corporate events or abroad so it's usually difficult but we do have a DVD. 13.Have you ever had to cancel? No. We estimate that we've performed at around 1500 events since 1993 and we've never cancelled one yet. If one of the band is taken ill, we have plenty of other musicians and singers in our 'stable'. 14.Where have you played and who for?
